Fruity Photography

For as long as I can remember I've loved to take photographs. Around age 7 or 8, I got my first 110 camera. I would use my allowance every week to buy more film and have prints made at our local grocery store. I went on to take several traditional photography classes while going to school for my Associates Degree in Graphic Design. I loved everything about it! I loved learning about aperture, shutter speeds, light and shadow, film speed, everything! Understanding how the film is used to photograph, then developed to create negatives and then printed into positive was a magical process for me! :)

I've since moved on to digital photography and shoot with a Canon Xti. I sincerely believe my training in traditional photography has benefited me greatly! I urge anyone getting into photography to learn the traditional basics. Learn to know what you are doing, and why you are doing it will put you above the rest!

I've done a few weddings and a some senior pictures. I actually have senior photos and a wedding to shoot next weekend! :) I never really thought about selling my nature and landscape photos online until I saw some awesome photographers on etsy. I thought, "Hey, I can do that!".

So for my first shot at this, I listed these 5 pictures from my recent walks through the apple orchard. You can find them here on etsy!

What do you think? ;)

You took something ordinary like an apple and focused on it in a new light for some really beautiful photographs!
