I'm going to start making unique boxes for keepsakes and what not. Right now I'm in the phase of collecting different items to create my own box. Through making my own box, I will learn what to do and what not to do on my future creations. I'm starting with a green vintage make-up case with silver closings. This box is going to have a blue, green and silver/sparkle theme, all of which are my favorites :)
I recently won some license plates on eBay, old raised letter ones. I also won some old skeleton keys. I am considering painting some of these green and blue. I have lots of stuff I have purchased for scrap booking (another one of my loves!) that will also work well with this.
I'm going to some estate sales and garage sales tomorrow and hope to find new elements for my new project!!
